1Pe 1:17-21 (WEB) And if you call on the Father, who without respect of persons judges according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear; 18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain manner of life handed down from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot; 20 who indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifested in these last times for you; 21 who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
Who: Those who call God Father and live under His righteous rule.
What: Live in reverent fear because you were ransomed by Christ’s precious blood.
Where: In the daily choices that reveal what you truly worship.
Why: Justification purchased you; sanctification is the reverent response; glorification is the final vindication.
When: When you are tempted to take grace for granted.
Prayer: Lord, help me live in reverent awe of You. May the price Christ paid shape my gratitude and my conduct today. Amen.
