Day 15 — Daily Mission: Unity and Compassion

1Pe 3:8-12 (WEB) Finally, be all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous; 9 not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing; but contrariwise blessing; knowing that you are called thereunto, that you should inherit a blessing. 10 For, He that would love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: 11 let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. 12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

Who: The church called to unity.
What: Compassion, humility, blessing instead of retaliation, and pursuit of peace.
Where: In community life and everyday interactions.
Why: Sanctification produces Christlike community; justification unites diverse sinners into one body.
When: When conflict threatens to divide or harden hearts.

Prayer: Father, cultivate unity and compassion among us. Teach us to bless rather than retaliate and to seek peace with one another. Amen.
