1Pe 1:22-25 (WEB) Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23 being born again, not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever. 24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls away; 25 but the word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached to you.
Who: Newborn believers called to sincere love.
What: Purified hearts produce fervent, genuine love; the Word endures.
Where: In the church and in everyday relationships.
Why: Sanctification shows itself in love; justification makes love possible; glorification will perfect it.
When: When relationships feel strained or love feels costly.
Prayer: Father, purify my heart and help me love others deeply and truthfully. Let my love reflect Your work in me. Amen.
