D'varim (Deuteronomy) Chapter 11
26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse: 27 the blessing, if you shall listen to the commandments of יהוה your Elohim , which I command you this day; 28 and the curse, if you shall not listen to the commandments of יהוה your Elohim , but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which you have not known. 29 It shall happen, when יהוה your Elohim shall bring you into the land where you go to possess it, that you shall set the blessing on Mount Gerizim, and the curse on Mount Ebal. 30 Aren't they beyond the Jordan, behind the way of the going down of the sun, in the land of the Canaanites who dwell in the Arabah, over against Gilgal, beside the oaks of Moreh? 31 For you are to pass over the Jordan to go in to possess the land which יהוה your Elohim gives you, and you shall possess it, and dwell therein. 32 You shall observe to do all the statutes and the ordinances which I set before you this day.

D'varim (Deuteronomy) Chapter 12
1 These are the statutes and the ordinances which you shall observe to do in the land which יהוה , the Elohim of your fathers, has given you to possess it, all the days that you live on the earth. 2 You shall surely destroy all the places in which the nations that you shall dispossess served their gods, on the high mountains, and on the hills, and under every green tree: 3 and you shall break down their altars, and dash in pieces their pillars, and burn their Asherim with fire; and you shall cut down the engraved images of their gods; and you shall destroy their name out of that place. 4 You shall not do so to יהוה your Elohim. 5 But to the place which יהוה your Elohim shall choose out of all your tribes, to put his name there, even to his habitation you shall seek, and there you shall come; 6 and there you shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and the wave offering of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock: 7 and there you shall eat before יהוה your Elohim , and you shall rejoice in all that you put your hand to, you and your households, in which יהוה your Elohim has blessed you. 8 You shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatever is right in his own eyes; 9 for you haven't yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which יהוה your Elohim gives you. 10 But when you go over the Jordan, and dwell in the land which יהוה your Elohim causes you to inherit, and he gives you rest from all your enemies around you, so that you dwell in safety; 11 then it shall happen that to the place which יהוה your Elohim shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there, there you shall bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the wave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which you vow to יהוה .
12 You shall rejoice before יהוה your Elohim , you, and your sons, and your daughters, and your male servants, and your female servants, and the Levite who is within your gates, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you. 13 Take heed to yourself that you don't offer your burnt offerings in every place that you see; 14 but in the place which יהוה shall choose in one of your tribes, there you shall offer your burnt offerings, and there you shall do all that I command you. 15 Notwithstanding, you may kill and eat flesh within all your gates, after all the desire of your soul, according to the blessing of יהוה your Elohim which he has given you: the unclean and the clean may eat of it, as of the gazelle, and as of the hart. 16 Only you shall not eat the blood; you shall pour it out on the earth as water. 17 You may not eat within your gates the tithe of your grain, or of your new wine, or of your oil, or the firstborn of your herd or of your flock, nor any of your vows which you vow, nor your freewill offerings, nor the wave offering of your hand; 18 but you shall eat them before יהוה your Elohim in the place which יהוה your Elohim shall choose, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your male servant, and your female servant, and the Levite who is within your gates: and you shall rejoice before יהוה your Elohim in all that you put your hand to. 19 Take heed to yourself that you don't forsake the Levite as long as you live in your land. 20 When יהוה your Elohim shall enlarge your border, as he has promised you, and you shall say, I want to eat meat, because your soul desires to eat meat; you may eat meat, after all the desire of your soul. 21 If the place which יהוה your Elohim shall choose, to put his name there, is too far from you, then you shall kill of your herd and of your flock, which יהוה has given you, as I have commanded you; and you may eat within your gates, after all the desire of your soul. 22 Even as the gazelle and as the hart is eaten, so you shall eat of it: the unclean and the clean may eat of it alike. 23 Only be sure that you don't eat the blood: for the blood is the life; and you shall not eat the life with the flesh. 24 You shall not eat it; you shall pour it out on the earth as water. 25 You shall not eat it; that it may go well with you, and with your children after you, when you shall do that which is right in the eyes of יהוה .
26 Only your holy things which you have, and your vows, you shall take, and go to the place which יהוה shall choose: 27 and you shall offer your burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, on the altar of יהוה your Elohim ; and the blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out on the altar of יהוה your Elohim ; and you shall eat the flesh. 28 Observe and hear all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you, and with your children after you forever, when you do that which is good and right in the eyes of יהוה your Elohim .

HAFTARAH

Yesha-Yahu (Isaiah) Chapter 44
11 Behold, all his fellows will be disappointed; and the workmen are mere men. Let them all be gathered together. Let them stand up. They will fear. They will be put to shame together. 12 The blacksmith takes an axe, works in the coals, fashions it with hammers, and works it with his strong arm. He is hungry, and his strength fails; he drinks no water, and is faint. 13 The carpenter stretches out a line. He marks it out with a pencil. He shapes it with planes. He marks it out with compasses, and shapes it like the figure of a man, with the beauty of a man, to reside in a house. 14 He cuts down cedars for himself, and takes the cypress and the oak, and strengthens for himself one among the trees of the forest. He plants a fir tree, and the rain nourishes it. 15 Then it will be for a man to burn; and he takes some of it, and warms himself. Yes, he burns it, and bakes bread. Yes, he makes a god, and worships it; he makes it an engraved image, and falls down to it. 16 He burns part of it in the fire. With part of it, he eats meat. He roasts a roast, and is satisfied. Yes, he warms himself, and says, Aha! I am warm. I have seen the fire. 17 The rest of it he makes into a Elohim , even his engraved image. He bows down to it and worships, and prays to it, and says, Deliver me; for you are my Elohim ! 18 They don't know, neither do they consider: for he has shut their eyes, that they can't see; and their hearts, that they can't understand. 19 No one thinks, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire. Yes, I have also baked bread on its coals. I have roasted meat and eaten it. Shall I make the rest of it into an abomination? Shall I bow down to a tree trunk? 20 He feeds on ashes. A deceived heart has turned him aside; and he can't deliver his soul, nor say, Isn't there a lie in my right hand? 21 Remember these things, Jacob and Israel; for you are my servant. I have formed you. You are my servant. Israel, you will not be forgotten by me. 22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions, and, as a cloud, your sins. Return to me, for I have redeemed you. 23 Sing, you heavens, for יהוה has done it! Shout, you lower parts of the earth! Break out into singing, you mountains, O forest, all of your trees, for יהוה has redeemed Jacob, and will glorify himself in Israel. 24 Thus says יהוה , your Redeemer, and he who formed you from the womb: I am יהוה , who makes all things; who alone stretches out the heavens; who spreads out the earth by myself; 25 who frustrates the signs of the liars, and makes diviners mad; who turns wise men backward, and makes their knowledge foolish; 26 who confirms the word of his servant, and performs the counsel of his messengers; who says of Jerusalem, 'She will be inhabited;' and of the cities of Judah, 'They will be built,' and 'I will raise up its waste places;' 27 who says to the deep, 'Be dry,' and 'I will dry up your rivers;' 28 Who says of Cyrus, 'He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure,' even saying of Jerusalem, 'She will be built;' and of the temple, 'Your foundation will be laid.'

Yesha-Yahu (Isaiah) Chapter 45
1 Thus says יהוה to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held, to subdue nations before him, and strip kings of their armor; to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut: 2 I will go before you, and make the rough places smooth. I will break the doors of brass in pieces, and cut apart the bars of iron. 3 I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, יהוה , who call you by your name, even the Elohim of Israel. 4 For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel my chosen, I have called you by your name. I have surnamed you, though you have not known me. 5 I am יהוה , and there is none else. Besides me, there is no Elohim . I will strengthen you, though you have not known me;

Yesha-Yahu (Isaiah) Chapter 54
11 You afflicted, tossed with storms, and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in beautiful colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires. 12 I will make your pinnacles of rubies, and your gates of sparkling jewels, and all your walls of precious stones. 13 All your children shall be taught of יהוה ; and great shall be the peace of your children. 14 In righteousness you shall be established: you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not be afraid; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. 15 Behold, they may gather together, but not by me: whoever shall gather together against you shall fall because of you. 16 Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals, and brings forth a weapon for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. 17 No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of יהוה , and their righteousness which is of me, says יהוה .

Yesha-Yahu (Isaiah) Chapter 55
1 Come, everyone who thirsts, to the waters! Come, he who has no money, buy, and eat! Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. 2 Why do you spend money for that which is not bread? and your labor for that which doesn't satisfy? listen diligently to me, and eat you that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. 3 Turn your ear, and come to me; hear, and your soul shall live: and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. 4 Behold, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander to the peoples. 5 Behold, you shall call a nation that you don't know; and a nation that didn't know you shall run to you, because of יהוה your Elohim , and for the Holy One of Israel; for he has glorified you.

Yokhanan Alef (1st John) Chapter 2
18 My children, it is the last time; and as you have heard that the false messiah shall come, even now there are many false messiahs, and from this we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from among us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they left us, that it might be known they did not belong to us.
20 But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you are enabled to distinguish between men. 21 I have written to you not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and are aware that no lie comes out of the truth. 22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Yeshua is the Messiah? He is the false messiah, and whoever denies the Father, denies the Son also. 23 Whoever denies the Son, the same does not believe in the Father; but whoever acknowledges the Son, acknowledges the Father also. 24 As for you, let that, therefore, abide in you which you have heard from the very beginning. For if that which you have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, you also shall continue in the Father and in the Son." 25 And this is the promise that he has promised us, even eternal life.

Yokhanan Alef (1st John) Chapter 4
1 MY beloved, do not believe every prophecy, but examine the prophecies to find out if they are of Elohim, because many false prophets have appeared in the world. 2 The Spirit of Elohim is known by this: Every prophecy which declares that Yeshua HaMashi'akh is come in the flesh is from Elohim. 3 And every prophecy which does not declare that Yeshua HaMashi'akh has come in the flesh is not from Elohim, but it is the prophecy of the false messiah, of whose coming you have heard and who is even now already in the world.
4 But you are of Elohim, my children, and have overcome them, because he who is among you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are of the world; therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them. 6 But we are of Elohim; he who knows Elohim hears us; he who is not of Elohim does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error."

Yokhanan (John) Chapter 16
1 I have spoken these things to you so you may not stumble. "2 For they will put you out of their synagogues; and the hour will come that whoever kills you will think he has offered an offering to Elohim." 3 And these things they will do because they have not known my Father, nor me. "4 I have spoken these things to you that when their time does come, you may remember them, and I told you. And these things I did not tell you before because I was with you." 5 But now I am going to Him who sent me, and yet no one of you asks me, Where are you going? 6 But because I told you these things, sorrow has come and filled your hearts. "7 But I tell you the truth, It is better for you that I should go away; for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I should go, I will send him to you." "8 And when he is come, he will rebuke the world concerning sin, concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment;" 9 Concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; 10 Concerning righteousness, because I go to my Father and you will not see me again; 11 Concerning judgment, because the leader of this world has been judged. 12 Again, I have many other things to tell you, but you cannot grasp them now. "13 But when the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak from himself, but what he hears he will speak; and he will make known to you things which are to come in the future." 14 He will glorify me, because he will take of my own and show it to you. "15 Everything that my Father has is mine; this is the reason why I told you that He will take of my own and show it to you." "16 A little while, and you will not see me; and again a little while, and you will see me, because I am going to the Father." "17 Then his disciples said to one another, What is this that he said to us, A little while, and you will not see me; and again a little while, and you will see me; and, because I am going to my Father?" 18 And they said, What is this that he said, A little while? We cannot understand what he talks about. "19 Yeshua knew they desired to ask him, and he said to them, Are you inquiring among yourselves concerning this that I told you, A little while, and you will not see me; and again a little while, and you will see me?" "20 Truly, truly, I say to you that you will weep and wail, and yet the world will rejoice; and you will be sad, but your sadness will be changed into gladness." "21 When a woman is in travail, she is depressed because her day has arrived; but when she has given birth to a son, she no longer remembers her troubles because of the joy that a male child is born into the world." "22 So you also are depressed; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no man will take away from you." "23 In that day you will not ask me anything. Truly, truly, I say to you that whatever you ask my Father in my name, he will give it to you." 24 Hitherto you have asked nothing in my name; ask and you will receive, so your joy may be full. "25 I have spoken these things in figures; but the time is coming when I will not speak to you in figures, but will plainly explain to you concerning the Father." 26 In that day you will ask in my name; and I will not say to you, I will ask the Father concerning you. "27 For the Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed I came forth from the Father." "28 I came forth from the Father and I came into the world; again, I am leaving the world and I am going to the Father." 29 His disciples said to him, Behold, now you speak plainly and do not utter a single figure. "30 Now we understand you know everything, and you need no man to ask you; by this we believe that you have come forth from Elohim." 31 Yeshua said to them, Believe; "32 For behold, the hour is coming, and it has now come, when you will be dispersed, every man to his own country, and you will leave me alone; and yet I am never alone because the Father is with me." "33 These things I have said to you that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but have courage, I have conquered the world."

Yokhanan Chapter 17
"1 Yeshua spoke these things, and then he lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, O my Father, the hour has come; glorify thy Son, so that thy Son may glorify thee," "2 Since thou hast given him power over all flesh, so that to all whom thou hast given him, he may give life eternal." "3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee, that thou art the only true Elohim, even the one who sent Yeshua HaMashi'akh." "4 I have already glorified thee on the earth; for the work which thou hadst given to me to do, I have finished." "5 So now, O my Father, glorify me with thee, with the same glory which I had with thee before the world was made." "6 I have made Your name known to the men whom You gave me out of the world; they were thine and You gave them to me; and they have kept Your word." 7 Now they know that whatever You have given me is from You. "8 For the words which You gave me I gave them; and they accepted them, and have known truly that I came forth from You, and they have believed that You have sent me." "9 What I request is for them; I make no request for the world, but for those whom thou hast given to me; because they are Yours." 10 And everything which is mine is Yours; and what is Yours is mine; and I am glorified by them. "11 Hereafter I am not in the world, but these are in the world; and I am coming to You. O holy Father, protect them in Your name, which You have given me, that they may be one, even as we are." "12 While I was with them in the world, I protected them in Your name; those whom You gave me I protected, and not one of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled." "13 Now I am coming to You; and these things I speak while I am in the world, that my joy may be complete in them." "14 I have given them thy word; and the world hated them, because they were not of the world, just as I am not of the world." "15 What I request is not that You should take them out of the world, but that You should protect them from evil." 16 For they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 O Father, sanctify them in Your truth, because Your word is truth. 18 Just as thou didst send me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes, I am sanctifying myself, so that they also may be sanctified in the truth. "20 I am not making request for these alone, but also for the sake of those who believe in me through their word." "21 So that they all may be one; just as You, my Father, are with me, and I am with You, that they also may be one with us; so that the world may believe that You did send me." 22 And the glory which You gave me, I gave to them; so they may be one just as we are one. "23 I with them and You with me, they may become perfected in one; so the world may know You did send me, and You did love them just as You did love me." "24 O Father, I wish those whom You have given me may also be with me where I am, so they may see my glory which You have given me; for You have loved me before the foundation of the world." "25 O my righteous Father, the world did not know You, but I have known You; and these have known You have sent me." "26 And I have made Your name known to them, and I am still making it known, so the love with which You have loved me may be among them, and I be with them."
